1. I’ll respond with something random about you
2. I’ll challenge you to try something
3. I’ll pick a colour that I associate with you
4. I’ll tell you something I like about you
5. I’ll tell you my first/clearest memory of you ( or, alternatively, I'll make one up. Tell me which you'd prefer. )
6. I’ll tell you what animal you remind me of
7. I’ll ask you something I’ve always wanted to ask you ( or, alternatively, I'll ask you a question addressed to a fictional character. Let me know your preference for this, too. )

Date: 2006-07-22 05:39 pm (UTC)return of the hawk anti-hero; alternatively, the one-eyed swordsman, perhaps. though maloki-wuxia would be more crack-tastic and much less amateurish than this or anything else I attempt to draw using a computer (http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=959F971A5CD6DA63)
why medicine?
wonder if I can dredge up what I waffled on about in the admission interviewIt's a relatively-respected professional career which allows one to provide a service from an authoritative viewpoint. Plus, I always wanted to be a detective, and this is something rather like it. ^^(why a japanese crane?)

6. Oh? *licks eyeball thoughfully*
7. Oh, Baldr's childhood? Sure, why not. He was...he. Um. He liked flowers and sunshine and books. I think. Er. I didn't really spend much time with him. I was busy, all right? Wars to fight, parties to throw, giants to trick - ooh, yes, Loki was very good at that part, very funny, oh, right, we were talking about Baldr. I don't really know. There were so many kids. He was- he sat around quietly a lot, kind of like a vase. Pretty vase, but, come on, vase. I kind of forget he was there most of the time. Now Thor, that was a good boy, so full of it - did I ever tell you the things he would get up to with Loki? Ha ha. That time he tried to catch me a live boar for my birthday and accidentally fell in a cake Baldr was baking for some reason, damn - well, ok, Baldr spent a lot of time with Frigg - I think maybe she always wanted a daughter, but. Look, why do you want to know about him anyway?

7. how did you first get interested in japan, or in learning japanese?
no subject
Date: 2006-07-22 03:51 pm (UTC)Would uguisu mochi suffice as a horribly cheap substitute? XDAs for the interested in learning Japanese bit, the interest in Japanese came later; I just took it at first because it was the closest to Chinese, and theoretically the easiest language out of the 4 offered at the MOELC.
And because I could.During my first few months, I didn't have much interest in the language; I was struggling with hiragana, katakana, and basic grammar. Then it all clicked together after around 4 months or so, and that was when the love affair began. I still consider it one of the better decisions I've made in my life.
