1. Who would make a better college professor, 6 or 11? What subjects would they teach?

Hahahaha, Odin or the Count? Odin had enough trouble handling younger kids in that volume 2 AUish thing, so the Count might be a better choice. Still, even though he would be stylish and terrify students and prolly molest the more hapless puppy-ish stupid ones, I don't think he would say anything of substance. Maybe if he was teaching a class on Romantic Literature or something.

2. 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?

Oh, how suitably ominous. It would probably be just another part in Friend's sinister plot to take over the world. Jin could cut down some pesky opponents. Alternatively, Friend could use Jin to stage his own assassination, and Jin would be killed by Friend's own bodyguards. Jin would ultimately see through it all, though, because he is on the side of Good!!! or has like noble samurai virtues or something. I suppose he would be a salaryman in that AU, though, which might complicate things.

3. What is or would be 9's favorite book?

Something boring and medical. Alternatively, something incredibly cheem and pretentious, because Tenma's quite the Gary Stu. He plays the guitar, did you know?

4. Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?

Tatsu-nii and Odin? No contest, man. :\ Poor Tatsu-nii, doomed to a life of servitude.

5. For some reason, 5 is looking for a roommate. Should s/he share a studio apartment with 9 or with 10?

Kuroyanagi would prolly find either Tenma or Omi to be perfectly decent people to room with. Tenma can cook, though, something I'm not sure Omi is particularly capable of.

6. 2, 7 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?

Tatsu-nii, Shikamaru and Friend? Errrr. I don't see why Friend would want to win either of them over, and I don't see why either of the first two would be interested in showing up, but I suppose they could all just go down to a friendly neighbourhood ramen-ya ( Friend is going down to the grassroots, you see ) and discuss nothing at all.

7. 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?

Narugami and Omi? Well, if it's video games, Omi prolly pwns Narugami something awful. Maybe Narugami will be unwilling to fight against someone who looks about 12 is also on the side of Justice! But if Omi starts philosophising at him then the duel might have to happen after all, and Omi will deposit Narugami's tranquilised body on Loki's doorstep, or something.

8. If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would he get it back?

I don't know what Ginko would want with a sword. Perhaps it is a mushi-infested sword. I don't think it'd take any work at all for Jin to get it back, seeing how disgruntled villagers overpowered Ginko easily enough in that volume 5 chapter.

9. Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.

Why do Shikamaru and Friend recur so often throughout this meme? Anyway, er: Indolence Under The Dictator: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Accept Totalitarian Peace. Although that is being rather mean to Shikamaru. :\

Ginko and Adashino already do. D: I should cheat and change the numbers, but. :\\\

This meme really likes Shikamaru. We would get along fine, I think, doing nothing in particular together. I would offer to play go against him, but it would bore him terribly since I am lousy at go.

I would prolly make Narugami cook something. :x

13. If 2 had to choose sides between 4 and 5, which would it be?

Tatsu-nii choosing between Adashino and Kuroyanagi? Kuroyanagi seems the sort of sempai who might terrify Tatsu-nii, so I think the easygoing doctor might be easier for him to work with. ...also, they have the same seiyuu, so uh it is prolly meant to be.

14. What might 10 shout while charging into battle?

Hahaha, "Weiss!!!" maybe. Or "Nooooo, Youji-kun~!!*" after the former has just rushed foolishly into battle and needs bailing out.

Jin? I don't know, my mind is in no state to make serious decisions like this. If I can cheat and say an instrumental, then something off the Ghost In The Shell OST -- shiny and sharp yet brooding.

The hell is a scallion pancake? Ginko, Odin and Friend... eh, Odin will prolly get it. Ginko wouldn't bother to fight over it, and Friend has to keep up appearances.

17. What would 5 most likely be arrested for?

I don't know exactly, but it would prolly be something he did when having too violent a reaction. Indecent exposure, maybe. -_-;;

18. What is 6's secret?

Shall be lazy and steal xsmoonshine's idea: Odin is actually wearing a wig.

19. If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?

The Count would be there ages before Tenma, because he has his shiny spaceship/demon horse limousine, and Tenma has to hitchhike around without getting stopped by the police.

See, Narugami would probably be honest, but Shikamaru is the more observant one, so I'd trust the latter. Sorry, Narugami.

Ginko and Tenma fighting crime vs Adashino's seekrit organisation! Hurrah. I suppose it will give Adashino a good chance to prance around in a swirly cape and laugh evilly. I can't see the Count volunteering to help, let alone being a spy for anyone, though I suppose his general ominous air could be foreshadowing for his betrayal of Ginko and Tenma. Kidnapping Friend, though, ahahahahaa. Nice role reversal. But man, seeking out Narugami for wise advice is never a good course of action, even if Kuroyanagi is the one telling you to do it. Um -- would prolly title it Hippocratic Hypocrisy ( shut up, drunk people are allowed to have no sense of humour ) or something referencing the Hippocratic Oath, anyway, given that both Tenma and Adashino are in this. I only have 4.5 fandom people on my flist anyway, but xsmoonshine, feliciter and karasu_rei should read it, because lesstraveled should do the writing. Even if, uh, I think I'm the only one who knows all of these characters. Oops.

22. If you had to walk home through a bad neighbourhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?

Bit of an anti-climax, ending the meme like this. Between Shikamaru and Jin, I'd prolly say Jin, even though Shikamaru's jutsu would be especially effective in a shady area at night.

Probably anything by Oliver Sacks (http://www.oliversacks.com/) - maybe "Awakenings", or "An Anthropologist on Mars". Though the only neurosurgeon-author I know of is Gopal Baratham, so.

adashino's sinister organization sounds terrifying! if i wrote it (and you are cruel, you know) i would focus many loving paragraphs on his silk top hat and evil laughter. and his karaoke habits, possibly. alas do not know half the characters mentioned, but :O! ginko and tenma. i suppose ginko would feel as though he attracts doctors with mental problems as well as mushi, and give up in despair midway through the plot.

Quite seasonal, but not as short as bayberries, which I miss most years. I think they(atemoya)'re also a new fad/hybrid thing, as last year was the first time I saw them. ^^

Heh, supermarkets, markets, regular fruit stalls in open air malls, anywhere. A lot of exotic fruits come out at different times of the year. (no problem, no more bother than an lj comment, wot?) ;)
