Wow, that's a really lovely view, you're so lucky! :) I like the photo from at night! Haha my windows are a little odd; I feel like I'm looking through glasses that are too powerful for me sometimes haha XD

it is a death eater, of course it's a lamp placed at ground level amidst some greenery/by the side of a footpath -- the light itself is white but illuminates the greenery to great effect, apparently!

o yes, we are in england after all Ah, I see that now! (There's a house in my neighborhood that puts up the most godawful pathway lights every Christmas that are about that shade of green, so initially I thought...).

eheh, not quite -- the annex is very modern compared to ye dreaming spires of 'proper oxford buildings'.
