it occurs to me that at least half of any given mushishi episode is exposition, but done in such a way that one is caught up in the descriptive beauty and only marvels, at the end, at how much can be said without actually *explaining*. Which is the effect of your mushishi-fic ^_^ (am i making sense? sorry if not, was on call last night.)
the idea that tetsu/susumu might rival Ye Grande OTP of hijikata/souji
my main reason for writing hijikata/souji is that it embodies (literally), for me, the tone ie crackangst of the whole anime XD
