1. I’ll respond with something random about you
2. I’ll challenge you to try something
3. I’ll pick a colour that I associate with you
4. I’ll tell you something I like about you
5. I’ll tell you my first/clearest memory of you ( or, alternatively, I'll make one up. Tell me which you'd prefer. )
6. I’ll tell you what animal you remind me of
7. I’ll ask you something I’ve always wanted to ask you ( or, alternatively, I'll ask you a question addressed to a fictional character. Let me know your preference for this, too. )

Would uguisu mochi suffice as a horribly cheap substitute? XDAs for the interested in learning Japanese bit, the interest in Japanese came later; I just took it at first because it was the closest to Chinese, and theoretically the easiest language out of the 4 offered at the MOELC.
And because I could.During my first few months, I didn't have much interest in the language; I was struggling with hiragana, katakana, and basic grammar. Then it all clicked together after around 4 months or so, and that was when the love affair began. I still consider it one of the better decisions I've made in my life.
